Newhireonline is a software application designed for commercial and state/local government customers to ensure that all the required new hire paperwork is completed in the most efficient way possible. The application is web-based and allows newly hired employees to complete their paperwork, in the convenience of their own homes – where access to information from other family members is readily available - before their first day of work, saving organizations significant amounts of time and money.

The software is separated into two parts. The first part is used by the new hire. It directs them through a logical and intelligent interview wizard to collect all required information, which is then used to correctly populate their new hire paperwork. Information, such as a new hire's name, address, dependents and social security number are collected once and newhireonline automatically populates all other required forms with this information. It also collects data that can be used to automatically update corporate backend systems such as payroll and benefits.

The second part of the software is for HR and administrative staff who are responsible for setting up new hire accounts and sending the initial offer email to new employees so that they can securely access the application. As new hires complete portions of their work, the HR/admin side of the application allows authorized personnel to track the completion status of each account to ensure that new hires are completing their paperwork in a timely fashion. It also allows HR to view and approve the forms before any data is moved to other corporate systems.

Industry studies have shown that the new employees' initial experience is very important, not only for the employee but also for retention rates. Newhireonline substantially improves the productivity level and experience of hiring management and human resource personnel. Studies have shown that approximately 20% of an HR person's time is spent getting ready, coordinating and following up new employee 'Entry on Duty' (EOD) tasks. A full implementation of Newhireonline can reduce this people-power expenditure by 50% to 75% thereby freeing individuals to perform other priority and value-added tasks.
